The guitar concert rocked! Ok lah, the sound system was bad. The mike actually ran out of battery! So Melodies of Life became very weird. Coz Andrea and Yeow An were supposed to come in from the back down the steps to the stage, singing as they do. But Andrea's mike no battery! So she looked so embarrassed... Sobx. Could have been better lah. But that aside, I think the concert on the whole was good! 'Close to You' is still stuck in my head. Think I'll finally change the lyrics on the left margin. =D

Touched a cello for the first time in 3 weeks today! Whee~ Mostly slacking around in kh lah, but was still fun! Attempting to play songs that I obviously cannot play, that is. Heex.

1) people are staring at you strangely because your fingers tend to twitch quite a lot 2) people are wondering if your right arm's aching badly because you tend to massage a particular spot with a random finger from your left hand 3) you wonder if the vibraslap has anything to do with vibratos (or should i say vibrati?) 4) you don't exactly like it when people say "cellos"; you'd rather that they say "celli" 5) whoever who says cell-low instead of "chell-low" doesn't live to see the next day 6) when you look at a tree, you think about how suitable it is to make the cello body, bow or rosin... 7) suddenly, you've taken a fetish for making comments like "a beautiful woman is like a cello" (alright, it's supposed to be the other way around, said by Pablo Casals) 8) crossing your legs and slouching require a conscious effort 9) you wonder how you got blisters/callouses on all ten fingers 10) for girls, you find that even when you're wearing a skirt, your legs are still slightly apart 11) when you sit in a chair, you automatically sit forward, sit up straight, have your legs spaced some 2 feet apart, and knees bent at 90 deg to the ground 12) you start naming it 13) you're very happy with sleeping beside it, even though it means that there's no space for you 14) you wonder if cello-tape has anything to do with it 15) you talk to your cello and pat it as often as you can 16) when someone knocks it, you go "ouch!" and moan in severe agony 17) you're willing to buy extra strings for it, but you just won't spend another cent on your food 18) no one else gets to touch it 19) every time you walk pass it, you run your fingers up/down it and whisper sweet nothings 20) you're very offended that i've been calling your beloved cello an "it"
