Raindrops all around
Perfect image of my soul:
Sorrow, pain and fear.

I love writing haiku. They seem to capture the essence of what the writer wants to say, without beating about the bush too much. Haiku are also very different from 'conventional' poetry in terms of structure, so amateur poets can focus on what they want to say, rather than making their words rhyme.

Simple and clean, isn't it?
